"The possibility of a new pandemic is one of the most severe risks currently facing us" 

"It is clear from the science that good, basic hygiene measures must be at the heart of our response. Using a tissue when coughing and sneezing, disposing of it carefully and washing hands often will reduce the spread of Influenza, as well as common coughs or colds"

The latest campaign "catch It Bin It Kill It" which is being launched this week is to raise awareness of the Importance of good respiratory and hand hygiene. It builds on the success of earlier campaigns
